“A melting pot of Japanese art, fashion photography and craftsmanship.”
The totally new corporate identity for the young Italian bathroom furniture brand is based on extreme contrasts, the black and white, the male and female, the square and circle.
NAMING
Atelier= a workshop or studio, especially of an artist, artisan, or designer.
12= the number that the best represents the divinity and mystic virtues.
The naming conceptually becomes the meeting point between the human world, defined by people and physical objects, and the divine one, characterized by untouchable things such as the time.
LOGO
The logo is simple and memorizable, adaptable to any use and platform. The chosen font is Filosofia Regular as the evolution of the historical Bodoni, made it more soft and readable but always keeping its beauty and elegance. The visual scheme for the the name is a rectangular and the one for the number is a circle, which they reflect the philosophy used in designing the naming.
UX
Users must be driven by emotions in choosing products they want to discover. There are no distractions, only furniture pieces and naked people who interact with them, in an extraordinary unconventional way. Technical specifications are the last step you can reach by navigating the website. There are some illustrations instead of picture to tell better stories into the company sections.
PRINT
All printed assets are made with matt paper to emphasize the black and white logo as well as all the natural finishings proposed with the collections. There are some soft reliefs for an amplified touch experience.
